| Visionaris Prize - UBS |  | September, 2005 – Renctas is awarded the Visionaris Prize (Environment category) granted by the Union Bank of Switzerland (UBS) in acknowledgement of Renctas Social Entrepreneurship. A partnership between UBS and the Ashoka Foundation, the Visionaris Prize acknowledges the excellence of Renctas’ partnerships, particularly the partnership established between Renctas and the Itapemirim Group (Brazil’s largest bus company).

| Green Prize of the Americas |  | September 2004 – Renctas is awarded the Green Prize of the Americas 2004, in the Naval War School, in Rio de Janeiro. This award pays homage to distinguished environmentalist institutions and personalities for their outstanding environmental contribution throughout the year.

| UNEP Sasakawa Prize |  | November 2003 – In a ceremony held in New York City, the United Nations Secretary-General, Kofi Anan, awards Renctas General-Coordinator, Dener Giovanini, the UNEP Sasakawa Prize, considered the world’s most important and prestigious environmental award.

| Medal of the Brazilian National Congress |  | November 2003 – In a ceremony at the Nobel Room of the Brazilian Federal Senate, the president of the Brazilian National Congress, Senator José Sarney, awards Renctas Coordinator-General the Medal of the Brazilian National Congress for his outstanding contributions to the Country’s environmental protection as well as for his works developed at Renctas.

| Ford Prize – Conservation International |  | December 2001 – In a ceremony held in São Paulo City, Renctas is awarded the Ford Motor Company Prize, in the Environmental Education category, as the best project of the year.
